6th India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting to be held in New Delhi..

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar and his Malaysian counterpart Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir will co-chair the 6th India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi today. The Joint Commission Meeting will review the progress of Enhanced Strategic Partnership in the area political, defense, security, economic, trade and investment, health, science and technology, culture, tourism and people to people ties. Both sides will also discuss regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.

Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir is also scheduled to call on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today. Ahead of the Joint Commission Meeting, India-Malaysia Senior Officials’ Meeting was held in New Delhi yesterday. It was co-chaired by Secretary (East) in Ministry of External Affairs Saurabh Kumar and Deputy Secretary General in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani. Both sides held a preparatory meeting for the 6th India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting.
