The Ministry of Ayush, in collaboration with the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), is hosting a sensitization program at the AIIA campus in New Delhi. This event aims to facilitate information sharing between the insurance sector and Ayush healthcare providers and includes the presence of CEOs and CMDs of General Insurance Companies as well as Ayush Hospital owners. The program aims to encourage collaborations that enhance the accessibility and affordability of Ayush treatments for the public and promote holistic health and wellness across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Ayush Secretary, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, called it a landmark day for Ayush and insurance coverages. He expressed gratitude to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India for its crucial role in integrating insurance into the Ayush sector.

Prof. Bejon Kumar Mishra, Chairman of the Core Group of Experts for Insurance at the Ministry of Ayush, emphasized that all stakeholders are committed to making healthcare affordable, accessible, and of the highest quality. He highlighted the dedication of all parties involved in improving the healthcare landscape through enhanced collaboration and innovative solutions.

Prof. Tanuja Nesari, Director of AIIA, showcased the institute’s remarkable journey and numerous achievements. She provided an overview of the significant milestones AIIA has reached in advancing Ayurvedic education, research, and healthcare.
