Security forces killed four militants in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported on Sunday.
The intelligence-led operation in North Waziristan saw intense gunfire, ending with two insurgents, including Insaf Ullah, neutralised.
In a parallel operation in Khyber District, troops engaged another militant position, killing two and injuring three.
Weapons and ammunition were seized from the insurgents, who the ISPR said were involved in numerous attacks against civilians and law enforcement.
The military stated that further clearing operations were underway, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism.
