Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan tomorrow. During the visit, he will participate in the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ program, which celebrates the completion of one year of the State Government of Rajasthan. On the occasion, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 24 projects related to energy, roads, railways, and water worth over 46 thousand 300 crores rupees at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Mr. Modi will inaugurate nine projects worth over 11,000 crore rupees, which include seven central government projects and two state government projects, and will lay the foundation stone for 15 projects worth over 35,300 crore rupees, which include 9 central government projects and 6 state government projects.
The projects being inaugurated during the event include the Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network and Asset Management System projects, railway electrification of the Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section, and Package 12 of the Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment project, among other projects. These projects will help in providing an easy commute to people and fulfil the energy needs of the state in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of green energy.
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for construction work of Ramgarh Barrage and Mahalpur Barrage and the system for transfer of water from Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam through an aqueduct on the Chambal River at a cost of over 9 thousand 400 crore rupees.
Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the installation of rooftop solar plants on government office buildings, the development of one 2000 MW solar park, and two phases of 1000 MW solar parks in Poogal (Bikaner) and the drinking water transmission line from Saipau (Dholpur) to Bharatpur-Deeg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman and Pahari and Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur retrofitting work.
