A new direction is being seen in the field of IT hardware manufacturing in India. This can become a big challenge for China. India has planned to take its electronics manufacturing to new heights in collaboration with Taiwanese company MSI. Syrma SGS Technology Limited in Chennai is building a new assembly line for modern laptops. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav laid the foundation stone of this new assembly. Growing electronics production in India could challenge the dominance of China, which is the largest manufacturer of IT hardware.
Partnership with Taiwanese company
Sirma SGS has partnered with Taiwanese company MSI, which is a giant in AI-powered personal computers. MSI laptops will also be manufactured in the new assembly line. This step will promote the production of laptops and other IT hardware in India and will help in establishing India as a global manufacturing hub of electronics.
This initiative will further strengthen India’s electronics manufacturing sector, and will play an important role in taking forward the Make in India mission.
