Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held talks with the Director General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo in New Delhi to enhance labour welfare and social security coverage. In a social media post, the Minister said that their discussion was focused on emphasizing India’s commitment to workforce resilience, aligning with Viksit Bharat 2047 and G20 priorities. Mr Mandviya said that he is looking forward to deeper engagement with the ILO in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
