Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel is working on a new deal for a hostage release and a ceasefire deal in Gaza. Speaking to reporters at the White House after he met with U.S. President Donald Trump yesterday, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s commitment to securing the release of all hostages and eliminating Hamas from Gaza. He also discussed with Trump the U.S. president’s plan to relocate displaced Palestinians from Gaza while the area is redeveloped, a vision Netanyahu described as bold.

Meanwhile, President Trump said the Gaza war will stop in the not-too-distant future. He further said that Netanyahu is working very hard to release the hostages, and he hopes Israelis appreciate his efforts.
