Foiling an infiltration bid on Punjab border with Pakistan, the alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops neutralized a Pak intruder last night, when he didn’t respond to repeated calls by them and started running towards the border security fence.
BSF sources informed that the troops observed suspicious movement of the intruder, who covertly crossed the IB (International Boundary) and started approaching towards border security fence taking advantage of darkness. This happened in the border area near Village- Mahawa of district Amritsar. The body of the intruder has been handed over to concerned police station for further action.
