The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved 8 important National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects of length nine hundred 36 kilometres at a total cost of 50 thousand 655 crore rupees. These projects will improve logistics efficiency, reduce congestion, and enhance connectivity across the country. Briefing media in New Delhi today, Union Information Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that these projects are in line with India’s vision for 2047.

Under these projects, a six-lane Agra-GGwalior National High-Speed Corridor of 88 kilometres will be developed on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode for 4 thousand 6 hundred 13 crore rupees. It will also include a four-lane Kharagpur-MMoregram National High-Speed Corridor. The 2 hundred 31-kilometre 4-lane access-controlled high-speed corridor between Kharagpur and Moregram will be developed in Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) for ten thousand two hundred forty-seven crore rupees.
