US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti today said that India and America are united in the fight against terrorism. Addressing a seminar in Mumbai, Mr. Garcetti expressed satisfaction over the increased intelligence sharing and cooperation between the two countries to bring perpetrators to justice. Stating that peace is linked to prosperity, the US Ambassador said both countries need to reach out to communities that feel they are on the brink and could pose a threat to peace and stability. He also spoke about the importance of diplomacy and people-to-people contact for building a peaceful world. Stressing the need to build economic pathways, Mr Garcetti said the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor can play an important role.
