The Indian Army has mobilized resources to aid in relief operations in flood-affected areas of Himachal Pradesh, specifically in Shimla and Mandi districts.
In Samej Village, Shimla, Army has deployed three columns of personnel, an Engineer Task Force, and a medical team. The team repaired roads, built an improvised footbridge, and provided medical treatment to affected civilians.
In Barot Village, Mandi, the SDRF is managing the situation after a cloudburst left 10 people missing. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited the incident site and was briefed by Army officials. Essential commodities were also distributed to affected civilians.
