An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Pakistan issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and 93 other party leaders. The warrants stem from allegations of violence and rioting during recent protests in Islamabad.

The protests, called by Khan for November 24 to demand PTI’s electoral mandate restoration and the release of detained party members, led to clashes that left six people dead, including a policeman and three Rangers officials. Authorities accused PTI members of orchestrating violence, causing damage, and endangering public safety. The ATC judge approved the police’s request for the warrants under Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act and other laws.
