President Murmu urges govt departments to embrace digitization for transparent governance

President Droupadi Murmu has said that it is essential for government departments to modernize and digitize their systems by making the best use of emerging technologies. The President said this while addressing a group of probationers of Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Post and Telecommunication at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. She urged young officers to keep themselves abreast of advanced technologies and skills and strive to create more citizen-centric, efficient and transparent governance systems. President Murmu expressed confidence that they will make all efforts not only to excel in their careers but also to contribute to the effective delivery of government services to the people of the country.
