Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to talks with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, the Kremlin said today. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Mr. Putin has consistently expressed his willingness to engage with international leaders, including U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. In a related development, the U.S. President-elect said yesterday during a meeting with Republican governors that arrangements for the meeting were in progress. Mr. Trump, who will take office on January 20, has said he believes he can resolve the nearly three-year conflict between Russia and Ukraine but has not detailed a specific plan.
