The United Nations, through its Human Rights Chief Volker Turk, has once again called for an end to the conflict in Gaza. Speaking at the opening statement of the 57th session of the UN Human Rights Council yesterday, High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk emphasized that ending that war and averting a full-blown regional conflict is an absolute and urgent priority.
